Eugene Saltzberg MD - Educator and Advocate in Emergency Medicine
Dr. Eugene "Gene" Saltzberg is an emergency medicine physician and educator who serves as an associate professor at The Chicago Medical School. In this capacity, Eugene Saltzberg, MD, leverages over three decades of medical experience to teach pre-clinical medical students about emergency procedures and differential diagnosis.
Moreover, Dr. Saltzberg has contributed to the field through his published work, including an article titled "An Ethical Analysis of the Arguments For and Against COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates for Healthcare Workers," which appeared in the Journal of Emergency Medicine in September 2022. He serves as a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and as a founding member of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, where he participates in committees focused on physician wellness and ethics.
In addition, Dr. Saltzberg engages in community service. He has worked with organizations like Physicians for Social Responsibility and the World Wildlife Association.
